With a highly qualified team of engineers specializing in production, design, and sales, Ferrobeton Romania is able to provide its clients with customized, competitive solutions and meet a wide range of construction requirements.

The factory is equipped with the latest technology for the production of precast concrete elements, allowing the manufacture of prestressed elements up to 60 meters in length.

Brief History

ERGON was founded in 1963 in Lier, strategically located between Antwerp and Brussels, with excellent facilities for receiving raw materials via the Nete Canal. Since its establishment, ERGON has undergone continuous development.

In 2000, ERGON began construction of a new 8,250 m² production facility in Poland, on a 15-hectare site in Mszczonów, 40 km south of Warsaw. With the first phase of this Polish investment, ERGON established a strong presence in Eastern Europe.

After four years of very successful operations in Poland, and as a natural next step in its ambitious expansion strategy, ERGON opened a completely new production facility in Romania.

Strategically located in Ploiești, an important commercial hub situated 60 km from Bucharest, ERGON began construction in 2006 of one of the newest and most modern production facilities in Europe, covering 9,000 m² on a 17-hectare site.

By applying industry best practices in construction, Ferrobeton is able to take on complex technical challenges that have resulted in notable achievements in the field:

• Bridge beams – Dridu Project: prestressed beams with deflected strands, reaching lengths of 44.5 m
• Roof beams – Sebeș Project: beams with a height of 1.8 m and lengths of up to 35 m
