 Somaco Grup Prefabricate SRL regroups 5 factories for precast concrete elements (in Buzău, Roman, Teiuș, Târgoviște and Timișoara) and one factory in Adjud, where we produce the masonry and thermal insulation system based on AAC.

With a turnover exceeding 50 Million euro, Somaco is one of the largest producers of concrete precast elements for road, electric and water infrastructure, as well as for building the commercial, logistic and production facilities in Romania. Moreover, Somaco is one of the leading producers of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks (AAC) in Moldova region.

History

The history of Somaco Grup Prefabricate starts in Roman, in 1954, when one of the first production units for concrete precast elements in Romania opened its doors. Today Somaco regroups 6 factories, in order to offer a customer-oriented and steadily expanding product range, an increasing quality of products and services, as well as a national coverage of construction projects.

Products

Somaco offers a wide product range:

• precast concrete elements for turnkey structures: precast concrete sleeves, precast concrete columns, precast concrete beams and purlins, precast concrete walls and precast concrete floor elements. Upon request, Somaco can produce also other precast concrete elements for turnkey structures, according to the project specifications.
• precast concete elements for electric infrastructure projects – classcial or alternative: concrete electric poles, reinforced concrete transformer substations, electric manholes etc.
• precast concrete elements for roads and bridges: reinforced concrete bridge beams, reinforced concrete bridge wings and other elements, prestressted concrete slabs, reinforced concrete elevations etc.
• precast concrete elements for the sewer systems: pipes, manholes etc
• the precast concrete road barrier system DELTABLOC®
